Surprises were few among the ranks of the unbeaten football teams going into last weekends games, and of those three surprises, only the Packers and Cowboys survived, as the Steelers took their first loss of the year.
Green Bay and Dallas both came up with impressive victories on Sunday to run their records to 4-0 and stay as two of the four undefeated teams in the league.
The Cowboys again used a potent offense to defeat a lifeless St. Louis team while Green Bay ran their winning streak to eight, four from last year and four this season, with a win over Minnesota.
Indianapolis is last years Super Bowl winner and they have played very consistently so far this season as they spotted Denver a ten point lead and then outscored the Broncos 38-10 the rest of the way to secure the victory.
While all of those teams are strong, none of them looks prepared to challenge the New England Patriots who looked virtually unstoppable again on offense in their Monday night win over Cincinnati on the road 34-13.
Equally as impressive for the Pats was the way their defense handled one of the top offenses in the league in the Bengals. They only gave up 13 points and had Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson looking confused for most of the night.
The season is only four games in and many things can happen, but heading into week 5 there are only four teams that can claim to be perfect so far.
